Health and Social Care Bill 2011

Introduced into Parliament 19/01/2011, the Health and Social Care Bill deals with the aspects of Equity and Excellence: Liberating the NHS and Liberating the NHS: legislative framework and next steps requiring primary legislation.

It also includes provision to strengthen public health services and reform the Department’s arm’s length bodies.
