Research results
Research data must be carefully analysed to assess whether the results answer the objectives/questions set at the outset.
You should be able to
- draw general conclusions from your results – they should be applicable to more than one setting or situation.
- expect the same questions/objectives to yield similar results in other, comparable circumstances.
In general, research results should be transferable and generalisable, which means that researchers should be able to apply them to other relevant contexts or settings.
