What evaluation isn’t

Evaluation isn’t the same as evaluation research.

Evaluation research is a term used to describe scientific research “driven … by what commissioning stakeholders – those people who are affected by a project or service or are involved in its management and delivery – expect to find useful” rather than by “the advancement of science or of social theory”.
