Develop a research protocol
This document, also sometimes known as a research proposal, outlines
- why the research is important
- the key issues that are already known
- the ‘gap’ your study seeks to address.
It provides a ‘road map’ for the study and addresses the following questions:
- What methodology/ies will you employ?
- What methods of data collection methods best fit with your research questions?
- How will you reach and invite your study participants?
- In what setting will you do the study?
- What ethical issues will the study involve and how will these be addressed?
- How will the data be analysed?
- How will a judgement be made about the validity of the study findings?
- What will be done to disseminate the findings?
