Think about outcomes
If you are planning to collect data on outcomes ask yourself
- what constitutes an outcome?
- how was that outcome achieved and what resources were required to achieve it?
- which outcomes might be attributable to the project or service you are evaluating and which to other factors?
- how did factors external to your service, project or organisation affect the outcomes you are measuring?
