Quality matters is a guide based on the experience of others. It is intended to help inform thinking and to gain a better understanding of what is involved in planning for and implementing a quality improvement project.
It shares the experiences of hospices that have
- implemented successful quality projects
- used quality improvement tools to
- assess and develop their services
- develop staff
- support patients and carers better
It also describes existing quality schemes and quality tools which are available for hospices and palliative care services.
