In 2006 Peter Tebbit employed the methodology of needs assessment to demonstrate how population need varied between Primary Care Trust and Strategic Health Authority Populations.

This work was published in September 2006 in the form of a Compendium of Data and is now updated and revised in this second edition. It includes updated mortality data and a set of new indices for circulatory disease, coronary heart disease, stroke and COPD
