This best practice document sets out key issues and questions that commissioners and cancer network teams will wish to take into consideration when
- assessing local health needs and reviewing services
- developing contract service specifications
- monitoring performance.
It should be read alongside the web-based Cancer Commissioning Toolkit (CCT), an online library of key cancer information and data which can be easily accessed by commissioners for use in the preparation of their commissioning plans.
