New guide lights the way to better end of life care in acute hospitals

Acute hospitals focussed on ‘curing’ patients must also recognise their role in improving end of life care for patients and their relatives, according to a major blueprint for better end of life care services published today.
The National End of Life Care Programme (NEoLCP) published The route to success in end of life care – achieving quality in acute hospitals as part of a series of practical guides to improving services in different care settings.
